Utilizing the high-speed 100Base-TX technology, TRENDware has developed a 32-bit bus mastering PCI Ethernet adapter for computers equipped with PCI bus slots. The TE100-PCI runs in bus master mode, directly sending and receiving Ethernet packets to and from memory, using minimum aid from the CPU. It complies with IEEE 802.3 standards and transmits data over the Ethernet network at 10 or 100Mbps. It also operates in full-duplex mode, doubling the network bandwidth to 20 or 200Mbps.

The TE100-PCI automatically senses either 10Mbps or 100Mbps in use. Even if you are not quite ready for 100Mbps performance, you can deploy TE100-PCI today at 10Mbps and have built-in 100Mbps capability for tomorrow.
